Set your username, display name, bio, and avatar. Editing lives on your profile — not Settings.

Open your profile
From the top-right menu, open your own profile.

Tap Edit profile
Change your avatar, display name, username, and bio here — not in Settings (common mix-up).

Why a username can be “taken on X”#
Verify & unlink X#
- Verify X in Settings → Account → “Verify with X”. It adds a badge, and for listed KOLs it claims your KOL profile.
- One X account links to one KOLfi account. Unlinking frees it to be used elsewhere — and does NOT remove your KOL status.
